TRAINING CAMP WRAP-UP

Both JV & Varsity teams had great camps.  Eight grueling practices were held & now our base Offence & Defence are inserted as well as our Special Teams coverage's.  The coaches of both teams were proud of the effort, commitment & attitude established by the players who took part in the 2 week camp.  We are building the type of work ethic that will enable us to continue the proud tradition of Gold Football.  Any new players who want to be part of something special, something bigger than themselves, are welcome to come out this week and start contributing.

Both squads open this week (week 1):
JV Gold on the road at Valleyview in Kamloops  on Thurs Sept 5 @ 4 pm.
Varsity Gold at home to Rutland Friday Sept 6 @ Little Mountain @ 6 pm.

Both team's need a great week of practice with full commitment from every player to complete our preparations for these first games.  Practice this week is as follows:
JV Gold              Tues (time & location tba) & Wed 6 pm @ Little Mountain.
Varsity Gold       Tues 4pm Little Mountain, Wed 6 pm Little Mountain & Thurs 4 pm Sullivan with Parent Meeting to follow @ 6 pm.

Week 2 we will move to our regular practice schedules (except for holidays) :
JV Gold             Mon, Tues & either Wed or Thurs (opposite of game)
Varsity Gold      Mon, Wed & Thurs.
